U Da Kine Production
Since 2004 Tony Solis has been the Producer and Host of two Hawaii television shows, "Eh! U Da Kine, Ah?" and "Pakele Live!" In this role, Tony has had the opportunity to meet small business owners throughout the island. He has heard their struggles of opening and operating a business in Hawaii. This is why Tony is committed to supporting legislation to help small businesses thrive in Hawaii.
Hawaii Teamsters Union (Communications and Media Development Director)
Tony Solis' position at Hawaii Teamsters Union required him to be responsible for getting the union's 6000 plus members the union’s quarterly newsletters and annual union calendar. Tony produced all the training videos, filmed all video for union events and took all pictures for union archive. He also assisted in the coordinating of the companies annual Labor Day picnic at the water park for all its members and their families. Tony is committed to lowering the cost of living in Hawaii for the families he's worked so closely with over the years. With his background with the Union, Tony has proven that he is fiscally responsible. Also, finding creative ways to communicate with people is one of Tony Solis' strength's and he will expand on that if elected.
